Product entry FAQs:

  • Entering the Mother&Baby Awards isn’t just about competing - it’s about gaining a powerful endorsement that can elevate your brand and boost sales.

    Here’s what you’re investing in:

    Prestigious recognition – Your product will be rigorously tested by parents who need or use it. Making the shortlist is a huge achievement!

    The ultimate seal of approval – A Mother&Baby Award is a trusted mark of quality, giving parents confidence in your product.

    Marketing power – If your product is shortlisted or wins an award, you’ll receive the Mother&Baby Awards logo/assets free of charge (excluding TV use) which can be used on packaging, in-store displays, and online promotions to showcase your success.

    Proven sales impact – Research shows that winning a Mother&Baby Award helps drive customer trust and conversions, making that BUY button even more irresistible!

    This is more than just an award - it’s a game-changer for your business.

  • Entries open on the 1st March 2026 and will close 30th June 2026

  • Until the 30th April 2026, there is an early bird entry price of £285 +VAT per entry

    From 1st May 2026 the cost per entry is £299 +VAT

  • We require 10 samples per entry for the majority of the categories. For the categories that have higher valued products of £100 or more we require 6 samples and the following categories will all be group tested and require 3 samples: ‘Best Car Seat’ (all stages), ‘Best Multiple, Twin or Tandem Pushchair’ and ‘Best Travel System’.

  • Once your product(s) has been submitted our team will be in contact with you to give you the addresses to send them to. Please email awardsproducts@bauermedia.co.uk if you have any questions

  • Once your entry is submitted, our product testing team will match you to appropriate testers. Click here for more information on the testing process.

  • Our expert panel of real parents will rigorously test and review your product, scoring it on four key areas:

    Usability – How easy is it to use?
    Design – How well is it made?
    Quality – Does it meet high standards?
    Value for Money – Is it worth the price?

    Each tester will score your product out of 10, and we’ll average the scores across all 10 testers to determine the final rating. You’ll need to provide 10 product samples (unless your category states otherwise) to ensure a fair and thorough review.

  • Whilst we do everything possible to collect all 10 reviews - including three follow-up calls and three emails - occasionally, a tester may not respond. If this happens, they’ll be blacklisted from future awards, but your overall results won’t be affected, as scores are averaged out.

  • In addition to scoring, testers will answer key open-ended questions:

    For generic products and wet wipes:

    • Would you recommend this product to a friend or fellow parent?

    • What was your overall impression of the product?

    • Describe your experience with the product and how you/your child got on?

    For nappy categories:

    • How was the performance and absorbency of the product?

    • How was the comfort and fit of the product?

    • How easy was the product to use?

    • What was your overall impression of the product?

    For the Eco and Innovation categories the questions will differ based on the eco and innovative qualities of the product. If you would like to know more about these questions please contact awardsproducts@bauermedia.co.uk

    The tester feedback, combined with the scores, will determine the winners. Winners will be announced on 26th November 2026 at the Park Plaza London Riverbank and reviews for both some shortlisted and winning products will be published on motherandbaby.com

  • You can amend your submitted entry up until 10th July 2026, please email awardsproducts@bauermedia.co.uk if you are making an amend.

  • Best Eco Friendly Product: Reviewed by our eco expert and testers.
    Innovation of the Year: Reviewed by the Mother&Baby team and five testers, who will assess both standard criteria and why the product stands out as innovative.

  • The shortlist for all categories will be announced mid-September 2026 via email and will be published online. If your product has not been chosen, then unfortunately it will not be included in the shortlist but you will still be welcome to attend the event.

  • All winners will be announced on 26th November 2026 at our live awards ceremony at the Park Plaza London Riverbank. Winners will also be announced live on the Mother&Baby Awards LinkedIn.

  • Tables will be available to book from the 1st March 2026

  • If you are shortlisted or win an award, you will be sent the logo/assets to use in your promotions free of charge. Please note there is a charge for use on TV. If you need more information on using the assets on TV, please email awardsproducts@bauermedia.co.uk. There is also a charge to attend the awards ceremony, where you can book a seat or a table which includes a 3 course dinner with wine and after party.

  • All products entered into the Mother&Baby Awards MUST be on sale in the UK either online or in store. If you are an overseas company and win an award you must state the award was won in the UK when using an award rosette.
